The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested three individuals in connection with the murder of Weligama Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Lasantha Wickramasekera, police said today (26).
The arrests were made in the Kekirawa area. According to police, a woman is among the three suspects taken into custody. Further investigations into the incident are currently underway.
