SJB Member of Parliament Dr. Harsha De Silva said that some people in the government were ready to remove him from the Parliament’s Finance Committee while investigating the coal scam.
He pointed out that the government tried to kick him out of the finance committee when he found some connection with several other frauds and corruptions.
However, he said that the position of chairman of the finance committee should be given to the opposition.
