The General Secretary of the SJB Mr. Ranjith Maddumabandara emphasized that Samagi Jana Balawega is not ready to form a government together with the President.

He mentioned this when asked about the news published today in  certain websites that  SJB is ready to govern together with the President.

There, Mr. Ranjith Maddumabandara pointed out that SJB is a party that does politics with the people, and that SJB  has no desire to go to the people and form a government except by people’s vote.

Therefore, Mr. Maddumabandara emphasized that the government will be notified to immediately dissolve the parliament and hold a general election.

The General Secretary of SJB also said that people are requested not to be deceived by such fake news.

In the meantime, it has been learned that opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa is also scheduled to make a special statement regarding this false news.
