It is reported that due to the closure of the Bank of Ceylon branch of the Parliament today as part of a strike action, its work has been disrupted.
Generally most of the members of Parliament get service from this branch of Parliament Bank.
Parliamentary sources said that a leaflet was also displayed stating that the bank branch would be closed due to the strike action.
Although the Bank of Ceylon branch was closed, other service offices of Parliament, including water and electricity, remained open as usual.
