The sexual bribery incident involving an ITN TV anchor echoes parliament! The minister confirms secretary and says no complaint received; the chairman formed a committee while he is away!

Mass Media Minister Bandula Gunawardena said that neither he nor the Ministry Secretary Mr. Anusha Palpita have received any complaint regarding the accusation of sexual harassment against an anchor of the independent television service.

Based on a question raised by Mrs. Rohini Kaviratne in Parliament, the Minister said:

However, Mr. Sudarshan Gunawardena, chairman of the independent television, has appointed a committee chaired by a lawyer to look into the matter, the minister said.
