The government plans to present the IMF document on EPF-ETF and debt restructuring to the parliamentary finance committee next week I Sri Lanka Latest News

It is reported that the government has decided to refer the International Monetary Fund’s proposal regarding domestic debt restructuring, the Employees’ Provident Fund and the Employees’ Trust Fund to the Parliament’s Finance Committee headed by Mr. Harsha de Silva next week. Sri Lanka Latest News

Accordingly, it has been learned that the government has planned to get the approval of the finance committee.

However, this matter was discussed in the meeting of the executive committee of the opposition party unity held yesterday, where the general opposition decided to protest.

It was also decided to protest against these two motions and the adverse conditions in the meeting of Sahab MPs held today.
