Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa has emphasized in a statement that President Ranil Wickremesinghe has made another move through the transfer of ministers. Sri Lanka Latest News

The announcement is given below.

The government led by the President is playing another tune.

The government led by the President has performed the latest drama of its ridiculous power politics.

It was a strange exchange of ideas in the cabinet.

Accordingly, the opposition and the people of the country have handed over the environment to the health minister, who has said that he has failed continuously. What is actually happening is not creating a smart country, but a jilted country.

We question whether this is the form of the smart country that the president is trying to create.

The funny example given by the president who said that change starts with himself is wonderful.

Keheliya Rambukwella failed in his performance as the Minister of Health and we brought a vote of no confidence and the government together protected him. Even though the country’s health sector was collapsing, the same Minister of Health who said that he had confidence in him and kept him, has been removed by the President today and stripped of the trust of 113 people.

By talking about concepts such as green economy and green development, the president tries to show that he is very interested in the environment by appointing Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, who destroyed the health sector, as the minister of the environment, opening up the possibility of the degradation of the health sector to the environment as well. Confirming again and again that the purpose of his policies is not to provide the welfare of the people or the environment but only to consolidate his power.

The people of the country no longer approve of these funny plays and political gambling, which are illegally increasing electricity bills, destroying essential services including the health sector, and taking shameless measures to preserve their power.

We urge the government to stop the undemocratic work order that continues to put pressure on the public and make short-sighted arbitrary decisions as a dictatorial government and shrink the election map and hold an election immediately.
