A man has lodged a complaint with the Human Rights Commission today (23) alleging that he was brutally assaulted by the officers of the Turtle Police Station and that his wife was abused in the police station. Sri Lanka Latest News
He has alleged that he was taken by a group of Kasbewa Police officers who came in a police jeep in the early hours of the 17th, tied his hands and brutally beat him in a deserted place.
When we inquired from the Kesbewa Police Station about the incident, they mentioned that an investigation had been started under the leadership of a Superintendent of Police regarding this allegation.
