JVP leader Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake made a special statement regarding the letter sent by the Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government to all district secretaries not to accept the bail money.

He pointed out that the President has violated the constitution and that the government is exerting pressure on the Election Commission in an unconstitutional manner.

He also pointed out that Ministry Secretary Hapuhinna does not have the authority to forward this type of letter.
