Opposition leader Mr Sajith Premadasa said today that Sri Lanka Cricket has sent a letter to the Chairman of the International Cricket Council on August 28, stating the challenges posed to Sri Lanka Cricket by the government under 5 points. 18) Said in Parliament. Sri Lanka Latest News

Fingers pointing fingers at the Director General of Sports for cricket matches, Secretary of the Ministry of Sports requesting a description of the salaries of the officials of the Sri Lanka Cricket Association, the ability to run the Sri Lanka Premier League without the permission of the Sri Lanka Cricket Association, filing a constitution for the Sri Lanka Cricket Association and the intervention of the Minister of Sports. Mr Sajith Premadasa said that the 5 facts that Sri Lanka Cricket was prejudiced by the publication of the audit report of the Sri Lanka Cricket Board were mentioned in the letter sent by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board to the International Cricket Council.

Also, the opposition leader said that the Sports Minister had pressured the Cricket Board to make a 20 per cent donation to the National Sports Fund and this was stated as an additional point in the letter sent by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board to the International Cricket Council.

The opposition leader said that Sri Lankan cricket was sold to the international community to make money for one gang and the cricket body banned Sri Lankan cricket.
