Amid other allegations, MP Hesha Withana accuses former Chairman COPE of sexual bribery I Sri Lanka Latest News

There was a discussion in Parliament today (18) regarding the disclosure made by Member of Parliament Mr Hesha Withanage regarding a former chairman of the COPE committee who demanded sexual bribes. Sri Lanka Latest News

Mr. Charita Herath, Member of Parliament, who commented in this regard,

“In yesterday’s discussion, it was said from the mouth of the MP Hesha Withana that he was a former chairman of the COP committee who took sexual bribes. There are many former presidents. I believe that the chairman involved in this statement should really be searched, otherwise, it would be a great dishonour to the Parliament and that House.”

Member of Parliament Mr. Hesha Withanage who commented in this regard,

“I said this to draw the attention of the parliament because I cannot put the finger in the mouth of the gentleman with the issues that have arisen. This involves the current chairman.”
