A spokesperson of the said ministry stated that the ship in question has been given permission to anchor in the port of Colombo until the 28th.
The research ship “Shi Yan 6” belonging to China reached the port of Colombo yesterday (25) afternoon.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Government of Sri Lanka has given permission for the vessel to anchor in Colombo harbor to obtain fuel and other supplies.
