The 11th consecutive day saw a massive drop in the Colombo stock market price indices.

Yesterday (02), which was the first trading day of May 2023, a huge collapse was reported in the Colombo stock market price indices.

At the end of the trading session, the All Share Price Index was down by 271.75 points and the S&P SL20 Index by 103.42 points. This is a decrease of 3.03% and 3.95% respectively compared to the previous trading day.

Thus, at the end of the day, all stock price index values were 8,711.46 units and S&P SL20 index values were recorded as 2,514.37 units.

Today is the 11th day in a row that all share price indices have recorded a decline.
