Sri Lankan cricketer Dhanushka Gunathilaka, who has been accused of raping a woman, has been given permission by Sydney Magistrate Court Magistrate Claire Fernan to move out of the house where he currently resides and move to a one-room apartment.
When Mr. Dhanushka Gunathilaka appeared before the court yesterday (16), the lawyer who represented him in the Magistrate’s Court made this request.
The lawyer has asked the court to let Mr. Gunathilaka go to a new house because he is living in the house of a person who offered to help Mr. Gunathilaka and the legal process will be very long.
Considering that request, the Sydney Magistrate’s Court has allowed Mr. Gunathilaka to move to a new house.
The case is scheduled to be called again on January 12.
