The Bambalapitiya Police say that robbers have sneaked into the spacious house of a businessman on Skelton Road in Bambalapitiya and stolen a pistol, and over three million rupees worth of local and foreign currency and gold.
According to the police, a pistol, 12 rounds of ammunition, magnesium, 100,000 rupees, 6,000 US dollars, and over 10 million rupees’ worth of gold items were stolen from that house.
The police say that the theft took place when the millionaire businesswoman and the two maids were in the house.
