The Supreme Court has ordered the dismissal of three petitions filed seeking a writ of certiorari to overturn the Colombo High Court’s decision to freeze the assets of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella’s family members, in connection with an investigation conducted by the Bribery Commission. The petitions had been filed by members of Keheliya Rambukwella’s family.
A three-judge bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Janak de Silva, issued the order after considering the merits of the petitions.
