Both Mr Janaka Bandara Thennakone and Mr Pramitha Bandara Thennakone, who are the Matale district leaders of Podujana Peramuna, did not attend the conference as they did not receive an invitation.

This seat conference will be held at Rathota bus stand on the last eighth. It was held under the chairmanship of National Organizer of Podujana Peramuna, Member of Parliament Mr. Namal Rajapaksa.

The conference was organized by the Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs Mr. Rohana Dissanayake.

Minister of State for Defense Pramitha Bandara Thennakone said that it was disrespectful and petty not to invite the leader of the people of Matale, Mr. Janaka Bandara Thennakone, to the conference.

He said that if Pohottuwa treats them like this, they will get the results and that the people of the district will talk about the disrespect done to them and their father.
