Starting today Changes in weather conditions are predicted by the meteorological department I Sri Lanka Latest News

The Department of Meteorology has announced that a change in the current dry weather conditions on the island can be expected from today (21). Sri Lanka Latest News

There are several rainy seasons in Eastern, Uva and Northern provinces.

Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, South, North-West and North-Central provinces will experience scattered showers or thunderstorms during the evening or night.

Some places in Sabaragamuwa province. m. Highs above 50 are possible.

Foggy conditions are expected in some places in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and Galle and Matara districts in the morning.

The Department of Meteorology requests that people take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
