The Criminal Investigation Department informed the courts today that they are still unable to apprehend a suspect in the Dinesh Shafter murder. Sri Lanka’s latest news

The officials of the Criminal Investigation Department informed the court that further investigations are being conducted through several departments to uncover the suspects who committed the murder.

President’s lawyer Anuja Premaratne, who appeared on behalf of the aggrieved party for the rights of the murdered Dinesh Shafter, presented the facts and requested that Dinesh Shafter’s wife be allowed to get the SIM card or a new SIM card showing the mobile phone number used for business purposes before he was killed.

Is it possible to give that gift? The Additional Magistrate ordered the Criminal Investigation Department to present the facts in the next hearing regarding whether or not.

The Magistrate also issued a reminder to the government inspector while asking him to submit the government inspector’s report regarding the mobile phone used by the murdered Dinesh Shafter as soon as possible.

The case related to this incident is scheduled to be called again on May 14.
