Sri Lankan cricket is in turmoil.

Yesterday (24) was the first time in the history of Sri Lankan cricket that the national cricket pool was announced without the approval of the minister of sports.
The Sri Lanka ODI squad of 16 players for the ODI series against Afghanistan, which begins today (25th) in Pallekela, has been sent to the Sports Minister for approval.
This squad was sent to Sports Minister Mr. Roshan Ranasinghe a few days ago, but approval has not yet been granted. Otherwise, if a foreign team touring the country for a match must be diverted due to a lack of Sports Minister approval, it will be detrimental to the reputation of Sri Lankan cricket.
