The President’s Media Division announced that today (22) signed an agreement for the sale and distribution of petroleum products in Sri Lanka with China’s Sinopec Company.
The announcement issued by the President’s Media Division added that a long-term agreement was reached with Sinopec Fuel Oil, Ceylon Private Company, its parent company in China and Singapore for the import, storage and sale of petroleum products in Sri Lanka.
A special committee appointed with the approval of the cabinet has reached the agreement according to the recommendations given after the discussions held with the Chinese Sinopec company.
