It is reported that Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena has forwarded a list of all 225 members of Parliament to the Immigration Department to find out who are the dual citizens in the Parliament after the passage of the 22nd Constitution.
Accordingly, the Immigration Department has started a special investigation in this regard for the past few days.
In this investigation, it has been learned that the Immigration Department has identified a person who came to parliament from the national list as a dual citizen.
