In a statement, the Tamil National Alliance claims that since 1956, Tamil political parties have received a mandate to work towards a political solution to the Tamil National Question.

“Our position is that power-sharing should be in a federal structure that is consistent with the aspirations of the Tamil people,” said the alliance.

The Tamil National Alliance recalls that India has demanded the implementation of the 13th Constitutional Amendment and to ensure a dignified and dignified life for the Tamil community in Sri Lanka.

According to the Tamil National Alliance, provincial council elections should be held while ensuring a meaningful distribution of powers. Or one without the other would be meaningless.
