This phenomenon is visible in areas surrounding Nuwara Eliya city every year from late December to the end of January. Both local and foreign tourists visiting Nuwara Eliya describe it as a stunning sight that enhances the beauty of the morning.
During this period, between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m., the entire environment is enveloped in a soft white hue, with trees and leaves appearing completely covered in snow.
