A special program was organized to grant official membership to social media activists of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) party.
According to the party, the event not only recognized the role of social media activists but also stressed the dual importance of upholding freedom of expression and the responsibility to share opinions in a socially responsible manner.
