It is reported that the Ministry of Sports has not given permission to the officials of Sri Lanka Cricket to participate in the 50-over Cricket World Cup being held in India these days. Sri Lanka Latest News

Although the cricket body has requested in writing to the sports ministry requesting permission for that, the ministry has not done anything to give permission for it.

However, the Ministry of Sports has given permission to officials only to participate in the board meeting of the International Cricket Council to be held in Ahmedabad, India next November.

In this way, even though the Sports Ministry did not give permission to Sri Lankan cricket authorities to go to India to watch the World Cup, it is a special incident that the authorities of that country have taken steps to allow the cricket authorities of all other countries to join this event.
