The Samagi Jana Balawegaya staged a peaceful protest in Ampara town last night (30), highlighting several issues faced by the public, including the coal scam, rising fuel prices, and increasing electricity bills. Sri Lanka Latest News
The demonstration, held under the theme “Pacha Madiwata Horu Anurata Ba,” was attended by a group of residents from the Ampara area, along with local political leaders and civil society activists.
During the protest, participants called on the government to provide relief to the public by reducing electricity and fuel prices. They also urged authorities to take action against those responsible for the coal scam.
