Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela has officially announced that the ‘Siri Dalada Vandana’ will conclude on April 27th as originally planned.
He made this announcement in a special statement issued this afternoon (25).
On April 18th, Sri Lankans were granted the rare and auspicious opportunity to witness the most sacred Sri Dalada Thera—revered by Buddhists worldwide and regarded as the pinnacle of Buddhist veneration in the country—after a span of 16 years.
