Sinking ‘SriLankan’ airline is looking for flight attendants! I Sri Lanka Latest News

Letters signed by the Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Aviation’s private secretary have been sent requesting interviews for positions as flight attendants in SriLankan Airlines, which the Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Aviation Services, Nimal Siripala de Silva, has repeatedly stated is losing money. These letters are delivered to MPs and party leaders. Sri Lanka Latest News

“Dear Member / Organiser

SriLankan Airlines Recruitment for Flight Attendant Post.

Arrangements have been made to conduct an initial eligibility screening interview for the recruitment of flight attendants in SriLankan Airlines on August 3, 2023 from 8.30 am at the Lavender Hall of the Colombo Bandaranaike International Conference Hall (BMICH). For that purpose, please refer the following qualified female candidates, and they should attend on that day and time, no application forms are required for that and they should come to the said hall with a resume and educational qualification certificates.

The required qualifications are as follows.

• Age should be between 18 to 27 years as on 01 August 2023.

• General Certificate of Education should be passed simultaneously in 6 subjects with grade in English language.

• Proficiency in English and proficiency in foreign languages are considered additional qualifications.

• Minimum height is 157.5cm and minimum reachable height after standing on toes should be 212cm.

• Body BMI should be in proper form.

• For the interview, you should come dressed in a Udarata Osari (with a (U) hatti hatta).

When Kasun Sandarojana, who mentioned the relevant phone number, was asked about this, he said that he was a member of the private task force of Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva. He said that these letters were addressed to the ministers.

“These letters were sent to the ministers asking them to send their people. No problem, details about this are also available on the Sri Lankan website. Anyone can come for ‘walking interview’ that day,” he said.
