Sigiriya is not a fortress! A leisure park! A new discovery from Harin’s Ministry of Tourism!

Research has confirmed that Sigiriya is not a fort, says the Ministry of Tourism.

Mr. Chulananda Perera, Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, said that information has been revealed that Sigiriya has been used as a park.

Mr. Chulananda Perera expressed those views while attending a ceremony held in Kandy.

“The whole world knows Sigiriya as a tourist center.” But what is right in Sigiriya does not go to the world. Although Sigiriya is known as a world-renowned sacred tourist and cultural center, there is no proper system for it. So let’s discuss how to fix this. The Department of Archaeology, the Cultural Center, and the officials of UNICEF gathered together, and a very positive discussion was held.

We all go to Sigiriya thinking that Sigiriya is a fortress. If Sigiriya was a fort, why is it so beautifully built, with so many ponds and so many beautiful flower gardens? Sigiriya is not really a fort, Sigiriya is a beautiful leisure park. Like Peradeniya, which was beautiful and relaxing at that time, was also a leisure park built by the king. There, complete evidence was found and confirmed. “

Mr. Chulananda Perera, Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, said that they hope to introduce a new software for foreign tourists coming to Sri Lanka.

The tourism minister is Mr. Harin Fernando.
