Mr. Ali Sabri, Minister of Foreign Affairs President’s Counsel says that the Chinese ship “Shi Yan 6” has been given permission to come to this country.
He points out that permission has been given to the ship in question to come to Sri Lanka in the month of November.
Minister Ali Sabri said this while joining the 360- program that was telecasted on TV Derana last night (09).
Question – Has the official permission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs been received so far for the “Shi Yan 6” to come to Sri Lanka?
“They asked us for permission to come in October. We told them to come in November. Then they asked again to come at the end of October. But we are still in the same position as before.
