Shammi Silva, who secured his position as the President of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) for the fourth consecutive term without opposition, has been appointed to three key committees of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The decision was made during an ICC meeting held yesterday (01), where it was confirmed that Silva will serve on the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee, the Finance and Commercial Committee, and the Nominations Committee.
In this year’s Sri Lanka Cricket elections, Silva was re-elected unopposed to the presidency, extending his leadership for another two-year term from 2025 to 2027.
In addition to his role at SLC, Shammi Silva currently holds the position of President of the Asian Cricket Council.
