People’s Bank Pulmoddai Branch Relocates to a New, Modern Facility

People’s Bank recently celebrated the relocation of its Pulmoddai Branch to a new and improved facility, marking another milestone in its commitment to delivering enhanced banking services. The ceremonial opening was graced by the Chief Executive Officer/General Manager of People’s Bank, Clive Fonseka.

The newly relocated branch offers customers greater convenience, a spacious environment, and a comprehensive range of financial services supported by cutting-edge digital banking technology. A key feature of the new premises is the installation of a state-of-the-art Cash Recycling Machine (CRM), enabling customers to withdraw cash, deposit funds, and make bill payments seamlessly.

The event was attended by senior bank officials, including Deputy General Manager (Channel Management) Naleen Pathiranage, Deputy General Manager (Banking Support Services) T.G.S.P. Kumarasiri, Trincomalee Regional Manager A. Jayaasith, Assistant Regional Managers T.M.M.H. Thennakoon and K. Beeshman, as well as Pulmoddai Branch Manager N.M. Shiyam. Government officials, valued customers, and bank staff were also present to mark the occasion.

Established in 1961, People’s Bank stands as one of Sri Lanka’s premier commercial banks, serving a vast customer base of over 15.2 million. With the country’s largest banking network comprising 751 branches and service centers, and a leadership position in digital banking, the bank remains committed to fostering economic growth and financial inclusion across Sri Lanka.
