The names of seven Sri Lankans are included among the 6,872 persons listed as fugitives under Interpol’s red notice list.

The Interpol website states that four of these seven are listed as wanted persons in Sri Lanka.

It is reported that the other three escaped suspects have been issued red notices due to the requests made by foreign countries regarding the crimes committed in their area.

Among the people mentioned in the red notice list, 38-year-old De Soysa Jagamuni Sujeeva alias Kosgoda Sujee, Nadaraja Sivaraja (49), Munisamy Thermaseelan (50) and Viknarasa Selvanthan (35) have been published on the Interpol website as persons wanted for legal purposes in Sri Lanka.

These red notices have been issued to Kosgoda Sujee in connection with a murder case and to Nadaraja Sivaraja for aiding and abetting the killing of Minister Lakshman Kadiragamer.

Selvanthan is wanted for possessing two Thermaseelan grenades and 200 live rounds, while Selvantan is accused of theft and murder.

Also, Mohammed Pawmi (61), a resident of Alabodagama, is wanted by India for fake currency notes, and Manikkawasagar Vijayaraja (41) of Jaffna is wanted by Canada, according to the Interpol shooting site.
