Sri Lankan film director Aruna Jayawardene’s film “Maria” which represented the main competition section of the Hanoi International Film Festival held in Hanoi, Vietnam, won the “Best Actor” award.
Hemal Ranasinghe, Mahendra Perera, Ashan Dias, Darshan Dharmaraj, Dasun Pathirana, Priyantha Sirikumara and Suran Dissanayake contributed to this film, and this “Best Actor” award was presented on behalf of all seven actors who acted in this film. It is also a specialty of this award.
