SC directs AG to draft a report on gasoline distribution and purchase.

The Attorney General was mandated by the Supreme Court today to draft a report outlining the industries that will have priority in the purchase and distribution of petroleum.
This report must be submitted by the Attorney General by July 12th, 2022.
After considering two claims for fundamental rights submitted by the Sri Lankan Bar Association, the Supreme Court issued the ruling.
In the presence of Justices Vijith Malalgoda, Mahinda Samayawardena, and Arjuna Obeysekera, the applications were called up.
