Sathyaraj Urges International Criminal Probe into Chemmani Mass Graves in Sri Lanka

Renowned Indian actor Sathyaraj has called for an international criminal investigation into the Chemmani mass graves discovered in Sri Lanka, urging that the matter be brought before the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Commenting on the recent uncovering of human skeletal remains from the Chemmani mass grave, Sathyaraj expressed deep sorrow, particularly over reports indicating that the remains include those of children. According to Indian media, the actor emphasized the urgency of addressing the issue at an international level, citing the gravity of the findings.

To date, authorities have discovered 33 human skeletal remains at the Chemmani site.

Sathyaraj is a widely respected figure in the Indian entertainment industry, known for his work across Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada cinema and television. With a prolific career spanning more than 250 films, he has earned numerous accolades and awards for his performances.
