The opposition leader said here that the current tax formula in the country is unfair and more than the target has been taxed and yesterday he discussed with the International Monetary Fund officials about this tax formula and said that this agreement will be changed and a fair tax policy will be implemented.

A fair tax formula is needed

Tax revenue is important and government revenue can be increased through the efficiency of tax collection, transparency, catching those who have not been caught in the tax net, it will create a clear positive change in the tax formula and the current government is working to bring a charged property tax. Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said that a fair tax formula will be implemented for professionals, salaried employees and common people.

There are many problems in the health sector today

Today, there is a serious problem and crisis in the health system and due to the state’s silence and neglect, drug theft, bribery and corruption have increased in the bankrupt country and there is nothing strange to say about the actions of the former health minister. The leader of the opposition said that bribery and corruption are coming to an end.

Creating a national health policy

Also, the opposition leader said that a national health policy will be created, disease prevention and treatment programs will be strengthened, Samagi Jana Balawega will do a work that neither the government nor the opposition has done in the 76-year history of democracy, and every problem will be solved using scientific methods in a stronger and faster way. The opposition leader pointed out that the poverty of our country has increased so far and even the rulers of the country are not yet aware of how much it is, they have not conducted a survey on the real poor and they are giving subsidies at will without properly identifying the poverty line.

Although the current government does not have a group that has knowledge about economic policy, because it has such a group, I.I. M. F. The opposition leader also said that the health sector is capable of being managed optimally based on the assistance and facilities obtained from other financial institutions.
