C.D. Lenawa sought a court interpretation regarding the term of the presidential election. According to Mr. Rohan Pallewatta, he has never seen Mr. Lenawa and noted that he is a member of the UNP. In a special statement from Japan, Mr Pallewatta mentioned that he no longer works with the National Development Front and is now part of the SJB Working Committee.
Mr. Pallewatta clarified that while Lenawa was in his party during his tenure with the National Development Front, he never met him or had his phone number.
