Ravi Seneviratne has issued a response to a media briefing conducted by former MP Udaya Gammanpila, which addressed allegations against him stemming from committee reports on the Easter Sunday bombings.

In an inquiry with the Divaina newspaper, Seneviratne stated, “Regardless of what anyone says, we are only waiting for them. These are not matters that warrant concern.” As the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Security, he emphasized that the allegations do not merit serious consideration.

Despite the gravity of the accusations, the National People’s Power government has yet to provide an official response regarding the allegations against Seneviratne. It is anticipated that Cabinet Media Spokesperson Minister Vijitha Herath will address this matter during the upcoming Cabinet media briefing.
