Ravi Karunanayake revealed in Parliament today that although he served as the Finance Minister at the time of the Central Bank bond transaction, the Central Bank operated under the authority of then–Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
He further pointed out that state banks and commercial banks were under the purview of Minister Kabir Hashim.
