Former Minister Ravi Karunanayake stated that Lasantha Wickremesinghe was a close friend and expressed disappointment that justice for his murder had not been achieved, even during the tenure of Ranil Wickremesinghe’s government.
He emphasized that it is imperative for the current President, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, to ensure that those responsible for Lasantha Wickremesinghe’s murder are apprehended and brought to justice.
