A meeting was held between President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in conjunction with the COP28 conference.
The President invited Brazil to join the Tropical Zone Program as both Sri Lanka and Brazil are facing the problem of climate change.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe also invited the President of Brazil to join him on a visit to Sri Lanka soon.
