Today (20) the Professionals’ Unions submitted a memorandum to the country office of the International Monetary Fund requesting to revise the pay-as-you-earn tax policy. Sri Lanka Latest News
The Union of Professionals stated that the relevant memorandum was delivered for the attention of the delegation that is visiting the island for the first review of the International Monetary Fund’s extended loan program in Sri Lanka.
They say that if the IMF does not pay attention to the relevant pay-as-you-go tax policies in the first review, it will take strict professional action in the future.
