The Kalpitiya Police have arrested five people who were suspiciously roaming in the Talawila St. Anna shrine grounds.Sri Lanka Latest News
According to the police, the concerned persons have been suspiciously roaming among a group of devotees who came to the shrine for the August festival and they were arrested last night (01).
The ages of the arrested persons are 22, 23 and 24 years and they are reported to be residents of Silawathura area of Mannar.
So far, it has not been revealed for what reason the concerned people came to the church grounds.
It is reported that interrogation of the arrested suspects has started and then they will be presented to the Puttalam court.
