According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr. Sagara Kariyawasam and Mr. Jayantha Katagoda of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna have been appointed as deputy organisers of the ruling party, while Mrs. Kokila Gunawardena, Mr. Madhura Withanage, and Janaka Tissa Kuttiarachchi have been appointed as assistant organisers.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena handed over appointment letters to those MPs at the Prime Minister’s Office (27).
Minister Susil Premajayantha, Leader of the House of Parliament, Minister Prasanna Ranatunga, Chief Organizer of the Government Party, Additional Secretary to the President and Chief Organizer Secretary of the Government Party Attorney at Law Chaminda Kularatne, Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister and Secretary to the Leader of the House Harsha Wijewardene, and Secretary to the Leader of the House Harsha Wijewardene also attended.
