A special meeting will be held today (15) between the former heads of local government bodies represented by the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna and the leaders of that party.
It was at the party office, Nelum Mawatha, Battaramulla under the chairmanship of the party’s national organizer Mr. Basil Rajapaksa.
Former mayors, deputy mayors and chairmen who represented the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna at the district level have been invited to this meeting.
A spokesperson of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna mentioned that many important matters including the future decisions to be taken as a party are to be discussed here.
