Sabaragamuwa Province Governor Navin Dissanayake stated that his name was removed from the speakers list at a United National Party rally in Kuliyapitiya.
“I politely excused myself from the @officialunp meeting today as I was promised a speech and later found out I was cut. Wonder who is making these decisions on behalf of @RW_UNP. I will stand by the party, but a person’s dignity should not be compromised,” Navin Dissanayake tweeted.
Minister Harin Fernando was also notably absent from the rally, which was attended by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
