Party Members’ Statements Reflect Our Economic Policy Despite Lack of Printed Program: Former MP Nalinda Jayatissa I Sri Lanka Latest News
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Former Member of Parliament Nalinda Jayatissa, a National Executive Member of the National People’s Force, stated that although his party’s economic policy or program has not been formally published, the statements made by party members can be considered as economic policy. He made these remarks while participating in Sirasa TV’s ‘Satana’ program.

Jayatissa noted that the economic committee invited by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) did not participate in the debate and emphasized that a debate between party leaders should have taken place first.

In response, former MP Ajith P. Perera from the SJB, who was part of the debate, accused the National People’s Force of avoiding the economic committee debate, claiming it was because they lacked a coherent economic program or a capable team to present it. He further criticized the group for presenting conflicting economic issues at different times.
