It is reported that the party leaders gathered today decided to ban Parliament member Ali Sabri Rahim, who was confirmed to be involved in gold smuggling.
For this, the party leaders associated with the government as well as the opposition party leaders have reached a unanimous decision.
The request is to be submitted to the Speaker, and former Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa has said that the Speaker has the power to suspend Parliament for the MP.
